Tarryn & Antons Wedding at the Cape Point Vineyards

I arrived at Monkey Valley to find Tarryn somewhat distressed at the cold and wet weather outside in Noordhoek. As the photographer, I find it important to keep everyone’s mind off of what they can’t control and focus on what they can – enjoying the moments of their special day and let me capture them. I set up the cameras and started doing the preparation shots. The more we got into it, the more the mood changed from being tense to celebratory.

We arrived at the stunning wedding venue, Cape Point Vineyards, and the weather was smiling on us – we were bathed in glorious golden sunshine and it had become a magical summer’s day. The venue has an amazing deck for ceremonies in the middle of a dam; the still water reflecting all the beauty around us. The clouds had dispersed and we were given some gorgeous light to make memories.
With the beautiful back drop of the mountains behind us; vineyards around us; and the ocean on the horizon; we were spoilt for choice in which to take some pre-celebration pictures; pictures to be savoured for a lifetime.
It was my first time at Cape Point Vineyards and I was very impressed to say the least. I thoroughly enjoyed my opportunity to work here and a big thank you must go to Tarryn and Anton for letting me capture their day. What started out dreary and cold became warm and inviting. A beautiful end to a beautiful day
